Stella D'Oro Daylily Plants for Sale Online

Welcome spring and summer with this sunny yellow re-blooming beauty! Stella D'oro Daylily is by far the most popular Daylily selection of all time. Why? Because it performs so well in all hardiness zones, and it flowers for months on end. This daylily forms a dense clump of grassy green foliage, with upright stems of fragrant, golden-yellow trumpet flowers.

Stella D'oro Daylily begins its display of golden yellow flowers in mid-June and keeps flowering at a steady pace until fall if the spent blooms are removed. This means it throws lots of 24″ flower scapes practically all summer, making it the all-time blooming champion among Daylilies. Use it in borders or containers on a patio or deck. For sheer volume of blooms, she can't be beaten. Stella D'oro Daylily is by far the most popular Daylily selection of all time because it performs so well in all zones, flowering for months on end. How to Care for Stella D'oro Daylily

We suggest when planting your newly purchased Daylily Stella de Oro plants that you dig a hole twice as wide as the root system but not deeper. Depending on the quality of your existing soil you may need to add a locally sourced compost or topsoil to the back-fill soil. We do not recommend using straight topsoil or compost as a back-fill soil because more times than not these products will retain entirely to much moisture and will cause the root system to rot. Adding compost or topsoil will help the young feeder roots to spread through the loose, nutrient rich soil, much easier than if you used solely the existing soil which more times than not will be hard and compacted. The most common cause of plant death after transplanting is planting the new plant to deep. That is why we do not recommend planting in a hole any deeper than the soil line of the plant in the pot. A good rule is that you should still be able to see the soil the plant was grown in after back-filling the hole.
