Optional 1 Year Warranty
Having over four generations in the nursery business, we understand that outdoor plants can fail to thrive for many reasons, which is why we offer our customers an Optional 1 Year Limited Warranty on all of our trees, shrubs, and perennials at the time of purchase. Due to the sensitive nature of houseplants we are unable to warranty Houseplants or Annuals.
Garden Goods Direct Optional Warranty covers the one-time replacement of plants that perish during the first year post purchase excluding shipping cost. Shipping of the new plant is not covered under this optional warranty and is the responsibility of the customer.
Warranties must be purchased at the time of checkout and can not be added after your order has been completed.
Optional Warranty Terms and Conditions:
All optional warranty claims must be received within one year from the date of delivery of your plants to the address specified on the order. Product replacement will only be sent to the original shipping address. Claims will not be accepted if the shipping address is different than the original shipping address. Claims received by Garden Goods Direct after one year of delivery shall not be recognized.
Warranties hold no cash value.
Garden Goods Direct reserves the right to request a photo of the dead plant and its surroundings for claim and evaluation purposes.
- In the event that the plants were planted in an environment that is not conducive to the health of the plant, i.e., poor soil conditions, wrong light conditions or outside of plants listed hardiness zone the optional warranty is null and void.
- Damage or destruction of plants resulting from weather, pets, wildlife, drought, improper application of insecticides or herbicides, fires, floods, or any unnatural cause, are not covered under this optional warranty.
- All plants must be planted in the ground and remain in the ground to be covered, this optional warranty does not cover trees, shrubs, or perennials planted in pots or planters.
- In the event of multiple claims or excessive losses, we may require a soil test to determine soil compatibility problems.
How to Place an Optional Warranty Claim
To claim your optional warranty please submit a claim form and send the required photos of the plant and its surroundings to verify that the plant condition has met our optional warranty terms. A new order containing replacement plants will be created immediately upon the approval of your claim unless otherwise stated by the customer.
