  • Covers a one-time replacement if your plant fails within the first year.
  • Replacement plants are shipped to your original shipping address.
  • Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Must be purchased at checkout—it cannot be added later.

What’s Not Covered

Our guarantee is designed to cover plants that fail to thrive despite proper care. It does not apply to losses caused by:

  • Planting outside the recommended USDA hardiness zone
  • Improper planting location (wrong light, poor soil, lack of drainage)
  • Damage from weather extremes, pets, wildlife, insects, drought, or natural disasters
  • Misuse of fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides
  • Plants kept in pots or planters (covered plants must be installed in the ground.
  • Annuals and Houseplants

If multiple claims are made, we may request a soil test to help diagnose underlying issues.


How to Place a Claim

  1. Email support@gardengoodsdirect.com with your order details.
  2. Include photos of the plant and planting site for quick evaluation.
  3. Once approved, we’ll send your replacement plant right away.
