We take pride in providing our customers with the highest quality plants so they arrive alive and ready to thrive. If you are not satisfied with your new arrival, contact us within 5 days of purchase and we will do what we can to remedy the situation.
As with all living things, death is possible. If your plant perishes (not including shipping damage, see shipping damage policy below) in the first 15 days following your purchase, email firstname.lastname@example.org including your order number and a picture of your plant. We will review your claim. It is within customer service’s discretion to decide the level of compensation awarded to the customer. Issues reported after the 15 day grace period require a purchased warranty for resolution. HOW TO CANCEL AN ORDER
As soon as your order is placed we begin the process of carefully preparing your order for shipment. We do our best to get shipments out the door as soon as possible. Therefore, in order to make timely adjustments, cancellations and changes to your order must be received within 10 hours of purchase.
After your order has been packaged and shipped, the order can not be changed or cancelled. Thank you in advance for your understanding concerning this policy.
All sales are final. Due to the fact that the majority of our products are living beings, Garden Goods Direct does not accept returns. Non-living items such as fertilizers, grass seed, planting soil, watering bags, hoses, pots/planters and other non-perishable garden goods can be returned at the customers expense. Upon arrival, items will be reviewed and must be received in saleable condition. Once approved, we will issue a refund with a 25% restocking fee. We do not refund shipping costs. Accepting the delivery of the product ensues the customer accepts the seller’s terms and conditions of sale. In no circumstance will Garden Goods Direct liability be greater than the cost paid for the order.
GETTING WHAT YOU ORDERED
We are very careful to label varieties true to name, but sometimes mistakes happen. In the unlikely event that an incorrect plant is sent, we will replace the product at our expense. We do not offer refunds for incorrectly shipped products, only replacements.
Customer acknowledges that they understand the plant type they are purchasing as posted on each product page at www.gardengoodsdirect.com. Garden Goods Direct will not replace or refund any items where the customer purchased the “wrong plant”.
PLANT PRODUCT PHOTOS
Since we offer a wide variety of sizes, all plant photos on the product pages are of mature or established landscape plants. All plants sold on Garden Goods Direct are younger plants and will ship in nursery pots.
I'M NOT DEAD JUST DORMANT
Most leaf-bearing trees and plants enter dormancy or semi-dormancy in the fall through the spring (some perennials enter dormancy in late spring or early summer). Garden Goods Direct will send out viable dormant plant materials early in the spring or late in the fall and winter seasons. These plants are completely healthy but may exhibit fewer leaves, discoloration, or complete leaf drop during this period. This is normal and completely essential to the plant's health.
In fact, planting during dormancy promotes root growth, giving your plant a better start in spring, when new foliage will begin to grow.
ALL ABOUT YOUR PLANT
Growth rates that are listed on our web site are estimates based upon historical data and assume optimum growing conditions. Growing plants require a suitable site, compatible environment, and care to prosper, and these are conditions beyond our control. Customer agrees, by accepting these terms and conditions, which the images used on www.gardengoodsdirect.com product pages, are representative of what the product they purchased will look like when it reaches the age of maturity, and is not what they will be receiving with their order. Plants are shown in decorative containers for display purposes only. All plants are shipped in black plastic nursery containers unless otherwise specified.
DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT
Before being placed in the box for shipment, each and every plant is carefully inspected and packaged to ensure that your plant can survive standard transit. However, impairments during shipment do happen. After opening the box, if you have found your plant to have incurred some damage, immediately email customer service with your order number and photos of the plant at the time of delivery and the box it was shipped in. Customer service reserves the right to request further information and/or proof of damage.
Our customer service team will inspect the photos and decide whether the damage was due to improper packaging, or improper handling by the carrier. If the product was found to be improperly packaged, Garden Goods Direct will resend the product, assuming all related costs. If the damage was related to improper handling by the carrier company, it is then the responsibility of the customer to reach out to the carrier (FEDEX) to request compensation for their damaged package. Garden Goods Direct is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipment.
Things change, and sometimes change can be hard to deal with. Garden Goods Direct may change any price on the site without prior notice.

Coupon codes must be active (not expired), and applied at the time of purchase. Coupons hold no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.

GARDEN GOODS DIRECT SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN AN AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF ANY PLANT.
