Invincibelle Spirit II Hydrangea Shrubs for Sale Online
Invincibelle® Spirit II Hydrangea is an improved version of the original Invincibelle® Spirit, which was the original pink 'Annabelle' Hydrangea Arborescens.
The Invincibelle® Spirit II Hydrangea is extremely hardy, boasting darker foliage and significantly strong stems. Compared to the original Invincibelle® Spirit Hydrangea, this improved version boasts larger, richer pink flowers. The smooth Hydrangea's blooms age to an attractive green. This hydrangea's flower growth emerges in early summer and lasts through to the season's first frost.
The popular yard shrubs are strong re-bloomers, blooming annually from mid-summer to frost. The plants weren't named Invincibelle for nothing. The hardy shrubs are adaptable to most well-drained soils and can handle various conditions.
Hardy in USDA zones 3-8, the yard shrubs grow best in full sun conditions. However, the plant will also bloom in the afternoon shade.
The Garden Goods Direct Team recommends pruning your hydrangea shrub in late winter or early spring to 6-12 inches. Your shrub will also benefit from the application of a fertilizer. Unlike most hydrangeas, where the soil acidity matters, the soil of your Invincibelle® Spirit II does not affect bloom color. The popular garden plants are also noted for their ability to bloom on new wood.
The bold flower colors and stunning green foliage on the Invincibelle® Spirit II will surely make a splash in your yard. Commonly used in mass plantings and cut flower gardens, the Proven Winners® shrubs look magnificent in mixed borders and naturalistic gardens.
