Meet the almighty Buddleia Pugster Amethyst. it's a whole new look for Buddleias. This long continuous dwarf plant contains unique sets of purple flowers with yellow thick centers. These beautiful flowers bloom all summer with no deadheading needed and have a unique fragrance. As well these plants can handle the hot but also prefer to be in full sun to gain its best performance.
This butterfly bush can reach heights of 3 to 6 feet tall and wide but has large giant flowers that you would not typically see on a dwarf sized plant. The Pugster's blooms come non-stop from earliest of summer through winter.
The Buddleia shrub grows best in full sun and well-drained soil for best results. Additionally, we recommend planting your shrub slightly high in the soil. As an added benefit, there is no need to be afraid of wildlife destroying your shrubs, for the Pugster Amethyst is deer and rabbit resistant.
