As a newer addition to the Lo & Behold® series, the Lo and Behold Chip Jr. Butterfly Bush is more compact than its brother the Blue Chip Buddleia, making it easier to maintain, especially when planted in small spaces. The plants' lore does not stop there, as these Proven Winners plants are continuously blooming and require no deadheading.
The Blue Chip plants have vibrant purple-violet flowers that really jump against a backdrop of silvery green foliage. The plant's low rounded form paired with its gorgeous flowers make the Blue Chip Jr. irresistible! Ideal conditions for these plants include full sun and a rich well-drained soil blend.
This cultivar is not considered to be invasive in the landscape and does not produce seeds. Most frequently the Butterfly Bush Buddleia is used in borders, container gardens, and in pollinator gardens. Additionally, the shrubs' spreading habit makes it the perfect ground covering plant.
