Our team begins preparing your plants right away — selecting the healthiest specimens, carefully packaging them, and scheduling shipment to ensure they arrive fresh, vibrant, and ready to thrive in your garden. Due to our fast-paced fulfillment process, we can only make changes or cancellations within 12 hours of purchase or before you receive your shipping confirmation.
We completely understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to assist you within that window. Once an order has been packaged and shipped, however, it can no longer be modified or canceled, as your plants are already on their way to you. We truly appreciate your understanding — this policy allows us to maintain the highest quality standards, protect the health of every plant we send, and continue delivering the fast, reliable service our customers count on. Returns
We want you to love everything you order from Garden Goods Direct! Because our plants and trees are living, perishable items, we cannot accept returns once they’ve left our care. This policy helps us maintain the health of all our plants and prevents the risk of spreading pests or diseases to the nursery.
If something isn’t right with your plant or tree, don’t worry — you’re covered by our We Grow Together Promise, which protects your purchase for the timeframe specified at the time of checkout. Just reach out to our customer care team as soon as possible, and we’ll help diagnose the issue and provide a one-time replacement if needed.
Instead of sending your plant back, we encourage you to make the world a little greener — plant it in a new spot, add it to your compost, or share it with a friend!
Returns for Garden Supplies and Hard Goods
Non-living items such as fertilizers, planting mixes, tools, containers, hoses, watering bags, and other garden accessories can be returned within 60 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in saleable condition, and returned in their original packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, but there’s no restocking fee for eligible garden supply returns.
