Distylium Vintage Jade Shrubs are a member of the witch hazel family - a truly lovely evergreen shrub that forms a spreading mound in the landscape, offering a refreshing touch of dark green throughout the year. Petite red flowers appear in the winter through early spring. This adaptable shrub grows in full sun or part shade, and is very tolerant of drought, heat and wet soil. Distylium is a good alternative for boxwood, cherry laurel, holly and juniper in foundation plantings or anywhere you want low-maintenance evergreens.
