This Stachys cultivar is named Hummelo in honor of a district in The Netherlands. Stachys Hummelo produces dark green leaves and bright purple-pink flowers. The spike-shaped flowers are a rose-lavender color and are very attractive to honeybees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Stachys Hummelo bloom for a relatively long time in mid-summer.
