The strong stems and compact upright habit make this one of the best choices for late summer and fall color! The bright lilac-blue, lacy flowers are closely spaced together giving the plant a solid appearance when in bloom.

This plant thrives in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils, and full sun. All Perovskia hate to have "wet feet," so avoid poorly drained soils. Denim 'n Lace Russian Sage is extremely drought resistant and deer and rabbits steer clear of this blue beauty. The most vigorous flowering occurs in full-sun locations.
