Dormancy Notice: This plant, like many others, enters dormancy or semi-dormancy in the late fall through early spring. *THIS PLANT IS NOT DEAD. It is completely healthy but upon receiving the plant, you may notice it exhibits fewer leaves, discoloration, or complete leaf drop. This is normal and essential to the plant's health. In fact, planting during dormancy promotes root growth, giving your plant a better start for spring, when new foliage will begin to grow.

Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® hydrangea is a big-leaf hydrangea that blooms on both old and new wood, with a tight, compact habit that is unusual among reblooming hydrangeas. Large, full flower heads will readily go heavenly blue in acid soils; alkaline soils will be vivid pink. This proven performer will bloom reliably even in zone 5. Let's Dance® Blue Jangles® hydrangea are best left unpruned.

Although blooms form on old and new wood, you'll enjoy many more blooms longer if you don't prune them. Exception: Remove any dead wood in spring once the new growth has emerged. Because of their ability to flower on new wood, most reblooming hydrangeas reach relatively large sizes.
