Kramer's Red Heather (Erica x darleyensis) is an evergreen shrub known for the bright reddish-pink flowers that form at the end of bronzy needle-like foliage. Although they are known for their winter spectacle, they are only hard down to hardiness zone 6.
Heather shrubs are fairly compact, reaching a mature height of 18 inches and spread only 2 feet wide. Not only are they compact, but their foliage is dense and mound-forming. All they need to thrive is the full sun!
