A high-alpha hops, it resulted from a cross between ‘Brewers Gold’ and a high alpha-acid male with excellent storage properties. ‘Nugget’ is best known for the smooth, mild bitterness it imparts, and its sweet flavor with a low-key, herbal fruity quality reminiscent of ginger, fresh oregano and rosemary.
