Carex Everillo is easily grown in medium to wet soils in part to full shadeshade.The foliage color is richer iwhen they receive morning sun. Carex plants thrive in moist soils, but also perform well in average garden soils. Carex Everillo plants are evergreen throughout most of their growing range. Where not evergreen, foliage should be cut to the ground and removed in late winter. 

Carex Everillo is a fine-textured sedge that typically grows in a low, grass-like mounded clump to 10-16” tall and as wide. It is native to dry woods and rocky slopes throughout Japan.
