Garden Goods Direct Shipping Policy

Customer hereby agrees to and acknowledges the following terms: Garden Goods Direct guarantees that all orders are carefully picked, packaged and containerized in a manner that optimizes the safe delivery of the plant products to your location. Our orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. Garden Goods Direct is not to be held liable for damage that your product may sustain during shipping while in transit. Packages lost in transit or stolen from their destination are not the responsibility of Garden Goods Direct and is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. If theft is possible at your location please feel free to use our “delivery signature requested” box on our checkout page.

In case of Damage during Shipping:

If your product arrives damaged, please contact customer service at Garden Goods Direct via email at, within 24 hours of receipt and a claim will be initiated with the carrier. You will need to retain the package(s) for a minimum of 7 days, as the parcel company may want to inspect the damaged product. We will reship the damaged replacement product after the delivering carrier (FedEx) has approved the damage claim. If we are currently out of stock of that item, we will gladly offer a substitute, or you may wait until the next crop becomes available.

Condition of Sale: After you submit your order and the checkout process is completed, your order is taken from inventory and your credit card is charged immediately. Customer agrees that their order will be delivered without requiring a signature unless a signature request is specified at checkout. Our carrier will leave the package(s) unsupervised unless other arrangements are made with us by the customer.

All of our orders are shipped via FedEx ground. Depending on your location, FedEx will reach you within 3 to 5 business days in most parts of the country. We strive to ship your order on in-stock items within 5 to 7 business days when possible, however on some orders of live items placed on Thursday, Friday or weekends we may opt to delay shipment of your items until the following week to minimize the amount of time your products will be in a box and/or warehouse. The health and well-being of your plants are our first and foremost concern. You will be notified by us via email if we opt to delay shipment of your order due to weather conditions or potential delays in transit. In the case of quality issues with our plant material which creates a backorder, you will be notified via email and offered possible substitutions. If no substitutes are acceptaple we will let you know the anticipated ship date of your items or offer you a refund of your back-ordered items

Note: All purchases completed on are done so in accordance with the shipping contract. This means that the risk of losing an item and property rights associated with the item are transferred to you (the purchaser) when we remit the item to the carrier.
